Prestigious law firm located in downtown Houston is hiring a Conference Services Specialist. The position is highly visible to attorneys, staff, and clients.
Primary Responsibilities
•Accurately record all necessary meeting details into the scheduling software
•Immediately capture and communicate all service changes, additions, and cancellations to appropriate local support staff firmwide
•Stay informed with constant updates to firmwide visitor offices, conference rooms, locations, room capabilities and limitations, equipment use, local support staff, set up and breakdown alert times etc.
•Serve as local office conference services subject matter expert and provide consultation and education on meeting and event spaces
•Participate in the execution of special event planning including menu planning, room configuration, décor, logistical timelines, etc.
This position relies heavily on detail-orientation, knowledge of firmwide space and equipment usage with a strong focus on customer service and quality assistance.
