Litigation Paralegal – 90% REMOTE – Location: Houston
Our client, a Houston-headquartered boutique law firm specializing in high-stakes litigation, corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, and crisis management, is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its team.
This is a primarily remote opportunity for a seasoned litigation paralegal who is highly independent, organized, and comfortable managing complex matters with minimal supervision. Candidates must be based in or near Houston and available for occasional in-office meetings at the firm’s downtown Houston office.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and file pleadings and other court documents in Federal and Texas state courts
• Manage e-filing and ensure compliance with applicable court rules, procedures, and deadlines
• Coordinate discovery, document production, and case-related materials
• Provide comprehensive trial preparation and litigation support
• Assist with TROs, hearings, jury trials, and other time-sensitive litigation matters
• Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and overall case management
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, courts, vendors, and other parties involved in active matters
Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years of substantive litigation paralegal experience required
• Strong hands-on knowledge of both Federal and Texas state court rules and procedures
• Significant e-filing experience
• Jury trial experience required
• TRO experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
• Self-motivated and highly dependable with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
• Must reside in the greater Houston area
