Trusts & Estates / Probate Litigation Paralegal – Dallas
Duvera Consulting is recruiting for an experienced Trusts & Estates / Probate Litigation Paralegal to join the Dallas office of a highly regarded law firm. This is an onsite position offering substantive work across both estate planning and contested probate and trust matters, with an attractive 1,200 annual billable-hour requirement.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience supporting trusts and estates and probate litigation matters and be comfortable working independently in a sophisticated, fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys with complex estate planning, trust administration, probate, and fiduciary litigation matters
- Draft wills, trusts, ancillary documents, probate petitions, motions, pleadings, accountings, and other legal documents
- Assist with discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
- Prepare asset inventories, client correspondence, and probate filings
- File and track pleadings and maintain court deadlines
- Organize and maintain digital case files and client records
- Coordinate meetings, hearings, court appearances, and other case-related matters
- Support estate and trust administration from initiation through final distribution
- Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, court personnel, financial institutions, and other parties
Qualifications
- 5+ years of trusts & estates and probate litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of estate planning documents, trust administration, and probate court procedures
- Experience drafting pleadings, petitions, accountings, and discovery
- Knowledge of Texas court systems and e-filing procedures
- Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage deadlines and a busy caseload
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree and/or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate preferred
