Real Estate Paralegal – Houston

A highly regarded global law firm with Houston office is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its sophisticated transactional practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team handling complex commercial real estate transactions, corporate acquisitions, financings, and large-scale development matters for prominent clients across a variety of industries.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and enjoys being deeply involved in transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, organize, and manage due diligence materials and transactional documents throughout all phases of a deal
• Coordinate and track complex closing checklists, monitoring transaction progress and document status
• Draft, revise, and proofread a wide range of real estate and corporate transactional documents
• Review title commitments, surveys, title objection letters, settlement statements, and related diligence materials
• Assist with drafting client due diligence memoranda and disclosure schedules for acquisitions, mergers, reorganizations, and financing transactions
• Coordinate commercial real estate closings, including signature collection, document execution, and closing logistics with clients, lenders, opposing counsel, and vendors
• Conduct UCC lien searches, litigation searches, and real property record searches
• Record real estate documents and assist with SEC-related registrations and filings
• Manage post-closing matters, including preparation and distribution of closing binders and transaction transcripts
• Maintain organized client and matter files within the firm’s document management systems
• Assist with preparation and filing of entity organizational documents with applicable agencies

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certificate strongly preferred
• Prior law firm experience supporting commercial real estate transactions required
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, iManage, and related legal technology platforms
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional presence
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and operate with a high level of discretion
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort working with financial and transactional concepts
• Flexible, proactive, and adaptable in a sophisticated, deadline-driven environment
