Public Finance Specialist (Tax) – Entry Level – Bachelor's Degree Required
Location – Houston or Austin
Key Responsibilities
• Proofread and edit documents for accuracy and clarity
• Prepare initial drafts of tax-related documents
• Build and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track compliance with federal tax requirements
• Research and analyze information from legal, financial, and governmental sources to create required documentation
• Organize, monitor, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Work independently while collaborating with attorneys and other professionals across the firm
Minimum Qualifications
• Strong understanding of basic finance principles
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Education
• Bachelor’s degree required
