A nationally recognized boutique litigation and trial firm is seeking an experienced Office Administrator to lead operations in its Los Angeles office.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for ensuring the office runs efficiently, the team is supported at the highest level, and the firm’s standards and culture are consistently upheld. This individual will partner closely with attorneys and firm leadership, acting as the operational backbone of the office.

Key Responsibilities
Office Leadership & Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Los Angeles office
- Anticipate attorney needs and ensure seamless support across teams
- Manage and balance workflow across staff to maintain efficiency and avoid bottlenecks
- Serve as the primary liaison between attorneys, staff, leadership, and external partners
Talent Management & Development
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day management of non-attorney staff
- Oversee performance evaluations, training, and employee development
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environment
Facilities & Office Management
- Manage office space, vendors, and facilities operations
- Oversee office build-outs, renovations, and space planning as needed
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and firm policies
Technology & Process Improvement
- Support firmwide technology initiatives and local implementation
- Champion process improvements, including automation and AI tools where appropriate
Financial Oversight
- Manage the office budget and oversee expense tracking
- Review and approve invoices and vendor relationships
Event Planning & Culture
- Lead planning and execution of firm events, including recruiting events, client-facing programs, and internal initiatives
- Help foster a strong office culture through thoughtful programming and engagement
What We’re Looking For
- 7–10+ years of leadership experience in law firm operations or professional services
- Proven experience managing teams across multiple functions
- Strong operational, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
- Experience working closely with senior leadership and high-performing professionals
