Dallas Litigation Paralegal – Big Law – 100% onsite

A global, full-service law firm with a strong presence in Dallas, Texas, is seeking an experienced Defense Litigation Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of trial and e-discovery experience in a mid-size or large law firm environment.
This role involves managing all aspects of large-scale, complex litigation and requires flexibility for overtime and occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of complex litigation cases, arbitrations, and investigations, including motion practice, discovery, trial, and appellate phases.
  • Manage and organize electronic and physical documents using the firm’s document management and litigation support systems.
  • Produce both electronic and hard-copy documents.
  • Compile and organize materials for witness preparation and depositions.
  • Prepare for and attend court trials and arbitrations, managing all trial-related tasks such as:
    • Preparing witness binders.
    • Tracking and managing exhibits.
    • Coordinating with trial consultants/vendors.
    • Scheduling court reporters.
  • Perform cite-checking and ensure adherence to Bluebook standards for motions and briefs.
  • Prepare and maintain privilege logs.
  • File court documents electronically through ECF and other Texas-approved e-filing vendors.
  • Utilize tools like Westlaw/Lexis, PACER, and Relativity proficiently for legal research and case management.
  • Train and mentor entry-level project assistants, as needed.
  • Support attorneys and managers with additional projects or tasks as requested.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a litigation paralegal in a mid-size or large law firm.
  • Extensive trial and e-discovery experience.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools, case management platforms, and electronic filing systems.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime and travel as necessary.
