IT Analyst – Global Firm – Hybrid/Rotating schedule
Position Summary: The IT Analyst provides primary user support within a legal services environment, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues related to software, hardware, and legal applications. This role involves frequent interaction with internal staff, attorneys, and external clients, and requires strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Help Desk Support
- Provide technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person, including remote troubleshooting.
- Monitor and respond to support requests using the firm’s ticketing system.
- Resolve or escalate issues, ensuring timely communication and user satisfaction.
- Offer backup support to other IT team members as needed.
Word Processing
- Troubleshoot and edit documents using Microsoft Office/365 and Adobe Acrobat.
- Assist with formatting, document conversion, and complex printing tasks.
- Create and edit legal documents, including TOAs, TOCs, redlines, and closing binders.
- Utilize Adobe Pro features for document management and security compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office/365, and standard desktop hardware.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment.
Education and Experience:
- College degree in a business-related field
- Minimum 5 years of IT support experience in a legal or professional services environment.
- Experience with legal applications and document management systems preferred.
