IT Analyst – FULL TIME REMOTE after training – BIG LAW must have w/p skills

The IT Analyst provides primary user support within a legal services environment, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues related to software, hardware, and legal applications. This role involves frequent interaction with internal staff, attorneys, and external clients, and requires strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
Help Desk Support

  • Provide technical assistance via phone and email, including remote troubleshooting.
  • Monitor and respond to support requests using the firm’s ticketing system.
  • Resolve or escalate issues to ensure timely communication and user satisfaction.
  • Offer backup support to other IT team members as needed
  • Microsoft Teams and OneDrive use and troubleshooting skills
  • iManage document management or similar system experience
  • Basic Hardware troubleshooting skills

  Word Processing

  • Troubleshoot and edit documents using Microsoft Office/365 and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Assist with document formatting, conversion and creation, including complex troubleshooting of documents.
  • Create and edit legal documents, including TOAs, TOCs, redlines, and closing binders.
  • Utilize Adobe Pro features for document management and security compliance.
  • Use AI transcription tools or local subscription-based software to transcribe individual dictation and audio transcripts.

Other Duties

  • Promote adherence to firm standards for document creation and software use.
  • Stay current with new technologies and participate in special projects as assigned.

  Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows 11, Office365, and standard desktop hardware
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Flexibility and professionalism in handling daily and project-based work

  Education and Experience:

  • College degree in business-related field
  • Minimum 5 years of IT support experience in a legal or professional services environment
  • Help Desk level experience with legal applications and document management systems preferred
