Director of Marketing, Business Development & Recruiting
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Due to continued growth, our client, a respected and expanding Houston law firm, is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Marketing, Business Development & Recruiting. This highly visible role will work closely with firm leadership and attorneys to strengthen the firm's brand, support practice growth, enhance client relationships, and attract top legal talent.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing and business development strategies that support attorney and firm growth.
- Provide business development coaching and strategic support to attorneys.
- Manage the firm's website, marketing communications, social media presence, and public relations initiatives.
- Coordinate client pitches, RFP/RFQ responses, presentations, and other business development materials.
- Plan and execute client events, seminars, sponsorships, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Monitor legal industry trends and identify opportunities to enhance the firm's visibility and market position.
- Promote firm achievements, attorney accomplishments, significant case results, and new hires.
- Manage attorney award submissions, directory rankings, and profile-raising initiatives.
- Oversee law school and lateral attorney recruiting efforts, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
- Assist with marketing and business development budgets and related strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, business development, communications, recruiting, or event management, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing business development and marketing initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.
- Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively with attorneys, firm leadership, clients, and external partners.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
