Senior Revenue Cycle Manager – Corporate Office | International Law Firm
Overview:
The Senior Revenue Cycle Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the firm’s full cash conversion cycle—from client/matter intake through time entry, billing, and collections. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this individual will ensure that internal processes are optimized for efficiency, compliance, and profitability. The successful candidate will manage a team of of business professionals and work closely with attorneys and firm leadership to maintain healthy billing practices and maximize realization and collections.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and continuously improve the full revenue cycle process, including matter intake, timekeeping, billing, and collections.

Oversee the business-side client/matter intake process, including evaluating client creditworthiness and business risk.

Ensure timekeepers and billing attorneys comply with firm policies and deadlines regarding time entry and billing.

Partner with attorneys and executive assistants to track and manage unbilled time and outstanding accounts receivable.

Occasionally support collection efforts and ensure escalation of unresolved issues to firm leadership.

Collaborate with the Director of Finance, CFO, and Managing Partner to report on revenue cycle performance and trends.

Develop and deliver the firmwide revenue forecast each Q4.

Evaluate and enhance operational processes and technology to improve efficiency and realization.

Lead, coach, and manage a team of business professionals, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Qualifications & Ideal Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required.

8–12 years of progressive experience in legal operations, revenue cycle management, or practice management within a law firm or professional services environment.

Proven track record of managing billing and collections teams, and implementing process improvements.

Strong understanding of law firm finance, including billing guidelines, client intake risk assessment, and timekeeping practices.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with attorneys and administrative staff.

Experience with legal billing software (e.g., Elite, Aderant) and financial reporting tools.
